Investing in the Future
Calvary believes in training up a child in the Word of God. This is done through the Calvary Kids ministries. At Calvary Kids, we want to help kids let their light shine by connecting them to Christ so that they may grow in the grace and knowledge of Him.
Sundays at Calvary Kids
Every Sunday morning, we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through sixth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.
Sunday School
Classes for children age 2 through 6th grade are offered at 9:00 am in our children's wing. Children enjoy age-appropriate Bible stories, uplifting music, and hands-on activities each week.
Kids Worship
Kids Worship is offered for children age 3 through 3rd Grade during the Sunday Worship Service. This is a time of age-appropriate songs, stories, and crafts.
Nursery
Nursery is offered during Sunday School and Worship Service. The nursery is located in our Early Childhood area.
Wednesday AWANA
AWANA in a non-denominational Christ-centered program for children 4 years old through 6th grade. AWANA meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm September through May. Each night consists of a lesson time, Bible verse memorization, and games. Children are welcome to join at any time throughout the school year.
The AWANA ministry is based on II Timothy 2:15 and AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed."
VBS
Vacation Bible School takes place for children age 3 years through 6th grade. Bible stories, music, crafts and experiments, games, and snacks are all combined to provide kids with an adventure-filled week designed especially for them.
